Scottish Tartan Society: There is a doublet in Kingussie Museum dated 1800 in this tartan. It also appeared in the Vestiarium Scoticum (1842) and in the Lord Lyon's Register of Arms (1955). A woven strip from the Kilbarchan Weaver's Cottage has ancient green, Balmoral blue and an orangy red.
